LaChelle Smiles-White, Cheer/Tumbling Director
LaChelle began cheerleading in 7th grade in Neosho, MO. She was chosen to be a member of the State Ranked Coed Varsity Cheerleading Squad in her first year of high school. LaChelle had the opportunity to compete at the state and regional levels, leading her squad to two 2nd place finishes and a tie for state championship. During her career at Neosho, LaChelle received several national awards including Elite All American for 3 consecutive years. She was chosen as 1 of 3 cheerleaders out of 72 to be named as UCA All Star Cheerleader at the University of Arkansas. She traveled to London, England as a UCA All Star, performing for the Queen of England during the New Years' Day Parade. After high school, LaChelle was chosen to be a Universal Cheerleaders' Association (UCA) Staff Member. LaChelle attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where she was a member of their nationally ranked Coed Cheerleading Squad and also co-choreographer for the Norse Stars Dance Team. Most recently, LaChelle is going on her 6th year as the Head Coach of the Crowder College Coed Spirit Squad. In January 2007, the squad competed for the first time ever during the Nations Best Collegiate National Championship, receiving 3rd place in the Jr. College, D-II & D-IIA Divisions.
